POPIAH SKIN


Recipe ( Skin )
All Purpose Flour
2 cup
Egg White
1 nos
Water
¾ cup
Vinegar
2 tbsp
Salt
1 pinch

Filling
Carrot ( Julliene )
3 nos
Cucumber ( Julliene )
3 nos
Water Chestnut ( Julliene )
1 nos
Fried Shallot

Chopped Peanut

Dried Shrimp


Sauce
Dried Chilli
15 nos
Onion
1 nos
Garlic
5 cloves
Brown Sugar
1 tbsp
Sweet Sauce
2 tbsp
Oil
To sauté
Salt
To taste
Pepper
To taste


   



Method:
1.    Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2.    Mix it well then rest it for about half an hour.
3.    Spread the batter to thin round layer onto pan. Let them cooked.
4.    Its ready to roll with the filling.
5.    The method for the filling, all have to cook except the chopped peanut and dried prawn.
6.    The chopped peanut has to cook first and also the dried shrimp without oil.
7.    For the sauce, broil the dried chilli first until becomes soft then throw the water and cut the dried chilli. Sift it.
8.    Next, blend the dried chilli with the onion, garlic and a little bit of oil.
9.    Then, cook the mixture that has been blend.
10.  Heat the oil first then pour the mixture then add some seasoning ( ajinomoto, sweet ketchup, brown sugar ).
